Even the pattern of administration and firmness shown by Dr. Mahathir when he was Prime Minister led the country respected. During 22 years as Prime Minister, Dr. Mahathir led Malaysia to tap into excellence. Malaysia has gone through various changes in the physical, mental and social. Malaysia has become a respected country on the world stage. Malaysia can stand tall and be low among developed countries of the world. Malaysia's success as a developing country and an ideal Islamic state in the region has been recognized worldwide.
